Instar-Nine's Achievements

  1. Regardless of the rules, they are gorgeous models. I'm thinking of adding jump packs to run them as vanguard veterans.
  2. That's a beautiful clean black. I agree about the space wolf heads, a lot of them have a good teutonic feel, the Templars seem like they would like a good moustache.
  3. Yes, the new rule for lieutenants is that if you take one, you can take a second without using an HQ slot. So you can take any 2 lieutenants together now, even 1 primaris and 1 non-primaris.
  4. Legio Magna are great. Beautiful colour gradients, as everyone has said.
  5. I like the concept and paint scheme, it's the sort of thing you'd find in classic Warhammer. The mottled armour panels work very nicely.
  6. Great chevrons. Such a classic paint scheme.
  7. Those walker crews look great. I've just bought some Novan Elites in the meantime. How are people finding them to work with? I've seen them on a few titans' bases.
  8. They look great, I love the complimentary shades of green. The glow effect works well too. Have you decided on Legio heraldry?
  9. Looking forward to seeing those knights, your other ones look great. How does the Cerastus kit compare to the Lancers?
  10. Thank you, it's useful to get a feel for what might actually work in the game, I've not played much. I think I'm probably going to try this set: Fury of the Fallen (too much flavour not to use) Duty and Honour Reactionary Fire Fusion Missiles I'm aiming for a mid-range shooting sort of thing.
  11. My second finished Titan, Falx Noctis. A bit closer to the existing art with this one The other 3 titans are all in progress, hopefully I can update more soon!
  12. Thank you! Yes, Warlord gave them a good amount of character. This one did come out with more blue than I expected. I love all of the 80s style patterned armour. I think I'm going to call the blue and bone striped panel a battlegroup marking.
  13. I've been interested in Titanicus since it came out, and lockdown has given me a bit of a chance to work on a battlegroup. I've liked the Pale Riders since I read their novel. I also like that they're only partly described, so there's lots of space to individualise the army. I'm hoping to do an Axiom Maniple first of all, and see where I go from there.
