  1. I've seen 'Project Star' as rumoured GW internal name for Skaven refresh - star backwards is rats. Over on TGA. Intel, @Ming the Merciless?
  2. Nice ideas, but the proportions seem a little off to me. Like the old-marines, skinny thighs and no abdomen.
  3. In my opinion, the first 40k reveal for quite a while that has similar freshness to the AoS ranges. Yes they're updates, but they're bringing out a really exciting space mercenary vibe. More of this please, more Tau auxiliaries and some Duthraki monsters and freaks. Go wilder GW.
  4. Look good, but the curse of chunky ropes strikes again. It's probably to take contrast better and won't notice on tabletop, but a few minis lately have had these arm thick ropes.
  5. Yes I think figure is sprinting forwards or leaping with their left knee high. I think arms crossed, but the sword held backwards so both weapons poking out to the figures left. The top right part is something worn on their back. Harlequin Mimes Kill Team? I think Mimes are Harlequin heralds, like scouts, juniors who go ahead of a performance. Seems to fit KT. And wasn't their a harlequin KT rumour over a year ago?
  6. Do we have any intel on when the trial will begin, and where in the UK it might be? Useful to know when and where they start to appear in shops. I think Fauxhammer implies they'll be out in Jan, so anyone who sees one please let us know.
  7. Wonder why this wasn't covered in the preview, when they had said they'd have something from old world. Perhaps there's another delay
  8. Excellent. BL minis are usually excellent. Glad they didn't do him in his armour
  9. Has to be Ufthak Blackhawk, we've seen his gun in the rumour engine. Surely.
  10. So much fantastic stuff from AoS this year, from the 4 ranges refreshes for Seraphon, Ghouls, Cities, and Orrucks, and the fantastic Dawnbringers minis. I'll probably go with Ionis Cryptborn (mods, let's call it chaplin on bike proxy). I think the Lion will win, and it is a fantastic mini. My 40k highlights also include Lictors and Arbites. But it feels to me like a weak year for 40k sculpts.
  11. Genefather was my favourite this year. Lots I enjoyed about End and the Death, but lots of slog in there too. I do like when the threads weave together. I do not like giant sentences and endless frozen vignettes. I want more tell less show, somehow. Cain: Vainglorious was nice, though I'd like to see some progression for Cain into new things. Also read the Vampire Genevieve series which reappeared in a Humble Bundle, some very old world charm there.
  12. Cain Cain: Hero of the Imperium And valet, with a picnic on the edge of a minefield
  13. What's Redacted for summer? New Codex? Kroot supplement? Exoldites? Catchan supplement?
  14. I think spruce layout and parts are based on hiding mold lines. They're fantastic these days are disguising one of the most feel-bad elements of the hobby. Anyway, DA should be cool. But is it's Asmodai I'd hope we get some lore or character development related the the redeemed. They're good at expressing that on mini too.
