  1. Well I’m pretty pleased too. Ok I’m not as long in the tooth as some other brothers here and only started once templars were rolled into the codex, but I think this is a good result. We are pretty much front (ignore the witch on the ‘front’) and centre here. As said above, we’re leading the imperium in PA2! 15 pages is three times what the heretics get, but don’t forget we also get the 10 pages of rules that come before that! Two litanies on a chaplain is going to have excellent potential. Our units are all still there and maintain our character. I was hoping for a primaris upgrade sprue, but on reflection the current one is better and with more options. And I was also hoping for a primaris emperors champion, but I guess now I have to make my own Unique champion who’ll befit my personal crusade. Having just finished tweaking the primaris chaplain model I’m looking forward to that! Bring on the Zeal! (Where’s Honda!?)
  2. Absolutely they'd be open to some creativity. And I'm all about using the environmental rules to mix the game up, particularly if they help the narrative :) I have a bit of a dodgy version of Vigilus 1 so I'll have a perousal.
  3. Photos leaked showing Crimson Fists and Imperial Fist characters in the same supplement, but no templars! Tor Garadon - Primaris Captain - Imperial Fists Captain Lysander; Pedro Kantor. Thats all i can see. Am I allowed to show photos here? I doubt it
  4. So I've been pondering for some time about playing some Armageddon themed games. These would be 'Narrative' style games, so I'm looking for some missions that may be suitable. Additionally, I'm thinking about using the Urban Conquest pack to play a campaign with my local club. The slight issue is that we don't have all that many Ork players, so would need to have some poetic license and fluidity about the campaign. I'm likely to invite some players and see what factions we end up with then make it work. Does anybody know or have any ideas for possible missions I could use? For the campaign I could just use the Vigilus setting but imo Armageddon is the iconic WH40k setting. Any thoughts regarding this? Does anyone have any experience of using Urban Conquet?
  5. Sounds suspiciously like a business model. Bring out the new thing so everyone buys it, but leave out the even newer thing so people buy two things!
  6. Yeah I've changed my list to include Grav Devs coming out of the pod - they wont clear a screen but certainly wouldve taken out the hellblasters!
  7. Could it be three different factions...? Faith - BT (though I feel it would be sisters if they were a bit closer to done) Beast - Ork Ancient Shadow - Eldar? Necron? just a thought. I'd still prefer a full BT supplement :p
  8. Ok I'm back with you on this! I believe! I keep telling my friends that a reboot of armageddon is round the corner...
  9. I'm sure the inevtiable Nova previews will shed some light on whats coming up - Particularly with 'Psychic Awakening'. I don't really see a place for us in or Orks in that... but then as has been said elsewhere, the Orks/BT box was rumoured at the start of the year. There's a lot of releases still to drop from GW: Impulsor Infiltrator / Incursors Phobos Lieutenant Iron Hands Forge Father Minimum 4 supplements That's a month of releases there!
  10. Ok so here's my report from last night So as I mentioned I played against salamanders in 2000pts. It was a maelstrom game from Chapter Approved and a beer and pretzels style friendly game. First, My list: His list (without knowing the breakdown 100%): 'Battle Report' Summary So there we are. Pick the bones out of that! Happy to answer any questions, but as you'll have read, i may not be the best to ask!
  11. Tonight I'm playing a 2000pt game against Salamanders. I'm not the most tactical player (beer & pretzels games ftw) but hopefully after tonight I'll have lots to feed back on.
  12. It’s just a stop gap to give the new Angels of Death rule to chapter specific units so we can use them at their current cost and rules but within a new style detachment, while we wait for the supplements.
  13. Aha, sorry I misunderstood and thought it was this ‘neophyte meat shield rule’
  14. Cheers man. The reivers are stood on greenstuff- they were my first attempt at an ‘upgrade’ on my previous bases. The rest of the primaris are standing on SuperSculpey with the bricks formed using one of GreenStuffWorld’s rollers
