Oh boy, where to begin.. (this may be cluttered due to typing this via mobile, will neaten up later) Gaunt's Ghost (the whole series) - Dan Abnett I picked this up simple because of who wrote it. Being a Space Marine fan, I was doubtful of reading about the Imperial Guard. My doubts was replaced with the need of more. Being formerly military, I can appreciate Dan's attention to detail; the struggles, strategy, inner turmoil between units and incompetent commanders. You get so invested in many characters just to have them brutally killed by either deciet or heroic sacrafic. No one is safe, besides Gaunt. All the characters i loved has taken a bit of my soul with their deaths. I'd recommend the series to anyone. The Long Night - ADB. (if short stories aren't welcomed let me know and I'll delete) Ole Sevatar, probably my favorite character in all of the Horus Heresy, and I'm not even a big Chaos fan. Aaron made a fantastic character out of him. I don't want ruin anything about it, but his relationship with the young Astropath is so refreshing to read. I always prefer dialog over just reading about bolters and chainswords in action. To taste, if all you want is action, then avoid this one. (will add more later, staring at this small screen makes head hurt...)

Hey everyone, haven't forgotten about it all, work has been just... well work has taken over. Tomorrow thpugh I'll get everything squared away and get the stats up for the completion of the event. I hate that my attention was taken away, for I'll have a failed vow, but real life really likes getting in the way lol.

Once again i apologize to everyone for how long it takes me to get things updated... but a 53 hour work week kicked my . Can't even remember the last time i picked up a brush, missed GenCon... but that money keeps me going. Just waiting for the winter. @Damo... how in Holy Terra do you knock out models so damn fast! Finally gotten around to updating everything... yall been busy! Awesome stuff i seen, and seeing new people participating is great as well. side note... after i updated everything and refreshed the page, it's showing that a lot of the links aren't working... is it just my busted laptop or have a made some type of error? Just a little announcement from me. Starting this Monday I will be going through orientation and training for my new job out of state for most if not all of the week. So if any vows get completed in that time, I will do my best to update the Stat post as quick as I can. I'm sure i'll be able to at the end of the day, but in the case just know that it will get updated eventually.

@Filius I should of noted before hand that yes it is a recorder that the Inquisitor has hidden on him. Some of this I add to kinda give a view of the scene, and to tell it as whoever is decoding the found recordings is adding their bit to describe what they are hearing.

Congrats everyone! Milestone Reach! As it stands right now we have 111 (120 including allies) models completed, making us Company Strength! Keep on keeping on! Lets see if we can at least be able to outfit 2 full companies!

Work has began with my RG successor Chapter. Never thought I'd ever do a DIY chapter... but here I am lol. Also, I never considered looking at the Thousand Sons model line for ideas... but i'll just say they have a lot of potential bits for Raven Guard and their kind
