    Easy enough to build patrols out of the Necrons. And a very good place to start for a battalion only needing another troops choice. Over on warhammer community they just released teasers for mephrit dynasty which appeals to me as I love destroyers

    I agree if not done right CF look to much like ultramarines. I washed mine with nuln oil and medium and the blue is still very light the units on their own look lik UM but on the table you can’t mistake them for CF the dark imperium box really is great. I picked one up and traded the DG for more marine and it’s now the back bone of my army. Does very good work

    I’ve found the beat way for IF is to spray with a averland undercoat. Base the same colour over the top. Then depending on how grim dark you can wash seriph sepia mixed with medium and go up in highlights through Urien yellow to flash gits....or fully layer yriel yellow over the top of the wash and highlight to flashgits then highlight with something like pallod wych flesh

    You say you have trouble painting yellow but that Lysander model looks fantastic! The face is pretty close to perfect

    They draw an obscene amount of firepower when they infiltrate in blobs of 20. I have yet to actually get their 3++ because my opponent always sinks so much into them

    I take the data tether on my 10 man vanguards as they normally run off, and the omniscope is very helpful on 5 man ranger squads. There only 5pts for the tether and 7 for the scope. 7pts to ignore cover is pretty good

    It’s the crimson fist ones I need. It would be great to have those if there not needed

    Both really. There are full Primaris chapters, but he also gave enough to bolster under strength chapters. For my crimson fists I’m running a full company of Primaris. No reason you can’t do a mainly Primaris chapter with a company of tacticals. Just make them 1st company ;)

    I think 1 or 2 could be useful as extra AV but I wouldn’t take more than that. Completely agree with you that it’s all done better by other things. Personally I would build dragoon 5 and 6

    In my 2K list i have 2x 5man ranger squads each with 2 TAs. so 4. In my opinion (except for the vindicare) its one of the best sniper options available to any army and can threaten vehicles too. Either field near Cawl as your firebase for rerolls, or in a Stygies army for -1 to hit.

    Same as above. Although I love my redemptor dready it rarely does much for me. The repulsor on the other hand is a beast. Put a chapter master next to it and watch your opponents face drop as you reroll all that daka!
