    Nice to see this blog resurrected again. For the lascannons, I believe those came from a Space Crusade expansion pack

    Great start, those minis look really promising. I understand all too well the urge to just wash the whole model, then tidy it up after.

    The Chainaxes from the Forge world kit (the ones without hands) would fit perfectly fine on his waist imo. That could work. I wonder what it would look like with the chainaxe hanging from a chain, between the body and the power pack

    For Lheor's chainaxe, could it be chained across his power pack? Given the size of the chainaxes, there might not be sufficient real estate to mount in attached to his waist - unless you know someone who can 3D print one, but maybe at 80% size

    I think every gun since the RBB01 bolters follows the rule of cool, rather than the rules of engineering.

    If you're concerned with the size of the gun, what about trimming back/removing the flash hider at the front, and removing either the magazine in the pistol grip or the round magazine under the receiver? Any of those changes would help reduce the silhouette of the weapon, and make it distinct from the original piece.

    Looking forward to seeing what you do with this mini. This was one of the first models I painted when I was getting back into the hobby, and I could not agree more about the quality of the casting. Some of the details were soft or, like the right shoulder pad, melted into the armor.

    I checked on Amazon but didn't find them, the manufacturer's website doesn't have an easy to use online shop, but I have found some online retailers that sell them. We do have one local shop that might stock them, so I'll check there first.
