  1. Back to 12 seconds to Midnight for a little while sort of thing. Krash
  2. To be fair rule of 3 isn't an actual rule. It's a suggestion Krash
  3. We are so screwed Much higher points costs for our Warp Talons. Why did you do this GW? Why? -Multi-charges are now much more difficult, which hurts assault-oriented armies such as ours Krash
  4. 9th is really pushing me away from this game... Krash
  5. Due to the board size shrinkage boards are overly crowded as is right now...if they lower points the game will be terrible. GW sort of backed themselves into a corner in regards to making the boards smaller. 40k is a large scale miniature game trying to be a skirmish game right now. Krash
  6. After watching a ton of bat reps. Is it just me or do transports seem 100% useless in 9th with how small and cramped the games are now...armies look so cramped on the boards now. It really looks like AOS with just two armies slamming into each other by turn two. Almost doesn’t feel like 40k anymore... Krash
  7. The big issue at least in ITC is that there isn't really a large representation of Grey Knights available as no one really plays them on top tables. But if you follow Lawrence from Table Top tactics he crushes it. Regardless I don't see any nerfs for Grey Knights Period. Krash
  8. @Beta galactosidase I agree with some of your points. But you don't need to change with the times. For instance wanna know how my group plays through the Badab war? With 5th edition the way it was intended right out of the FW books, along with Battlefleet Gothic. Now this isn't for everyone or everyone's play group but nothing is forcing you to use "GW's new hottness" rules set. People including myself have been playing Mordheim for the past 20 years (Man I feel old) and it hasn't stopped us just because GW decided to drop the game. Playing competitively yes of course you have to use the updated ruleset. But nothing is stopping anyone from doing what they want to do now or in the future. Like modeling with the old marines is a conversion dream despite the age of the models or the scale. They look incredible and very "Grimdark" if that is what you are looking for. When oldmarines eventually do die out, product wise nothing is going to stop me from building armies from the 10,000 year history of the 40,000 millennium and nor should anyone who wants too relive the glorious past prior to the return of a Primarch and the new age of the Primaris Space marine. (IE I'm very passionate about "oldhammer" models etc I just eat up old citadel and warhammer models from the 80s through early 2000s) Krash
  9. My SM armies are set during the Scouring and Badab war time periods. No Primaris for me, Period. Lots of unique units that Primaris don't have access too. It is not dumb to dive into firstborn. Krash
  10. Goonhammer really knocks it out of the park with there write ups. Can't recommend them enough. Krash
  11. eeeek I spend enough on the models. I would never touch this stuff. Army Painter are great paints IMO I would suggest looking there for a cheaper alternative than GW Krash
