Just going off what I see in battle reports and online threads, I'd say the Black Heart is the most popular named Kabal, while most players just make their own. Truth is, there really is not much on any kabal (besides the ones in the black library series I guess), so it's mainly a color scheme choice more than anything. As for the other part of your question, I have a Wych Cult of my own design that I field alongside Poisoned Tongue Kabalite forces.

Everyone's a winner when we get to have our way with the guys who didn't win. ;) Dark Eldar style.

Well, I completed my vow! Here are the final pics of everyone, with a final group shot at the end. I'm sure I've posted plenty of W.I.P. pics of every unit, but if I missed something I will add it to this post on demand. First off, Archon: The first squad of 5 Wyches: The second squad of 5 Wyches: The first warrior squad from the Poisoned Tongue, 5 models: And the second squad of Poisoned Tongue, 5 models: The Raider the Wyches will be using: A sort of group-shot with all of the Wych units: And my final group-shot featuring the whole force. This was a pretty large vow, so I'm glad I was able to finish it afterall.

Finished the last of what I could today, I could go on forever with the smaller details but it'll work. My pics will be in tomorrow night, on the 13th.

Raider in Orange scheme. Pretty much done, but I have a few spills to clean. The Orange layering didn't go on as well as I would have liked it to, but it looks decent in these pictures. Tomorrow, I finish everything else to be done for my vow.

You know, I am not that strict. If you two think you can get them done and have pictures by the time of voting then go for it. I simply want models painted. That also goes for anyone else. Yes m'lord! I am eager to please!

Those are amazing, definitely some of the best Dark Eldar Paintjobs I've seen in awhile, seriously. :) I can see the TLC that has been given to every aspect of those models. It's great work. And as for myself, I'm afraid I'm going to fail my vow, I bit off too much and underestimated what having your family over for the month would be like. I owe this forum now. 53 days penance scrubbing macro cannons.

Yeah, I wish I could see the metallic paint, im curious as to how it came out.

Ive got today and tomorrow to finish my vow, thankfully not much left on my end. Let's just hope I dont have anything distract me from pulling through.

I dont think Ive read five, so heres my top three. Number One: Dante - I really loved this one all around. A definite must read for all Blood Angels, and just a great book overall. Number Two: The Emperors Legion, this one takes place during the fall of cadia and the spawning of the rift, and I enjoyed the sense of impending doom it purveyed to me. It makes me now envision the events in a more positive light than I did when gathering storm first came out. Number Three: Jain Zar - In my opinion, a lot more interesting than Asurmen's book, and Vect and pre phoenix lord Maugun Ra even make appearances.

I haven't been following the meta much at all, but just in theory, if you spam splinter cannons on trueborn on a venom with more splinter cannons you get legendary anti-infantry as before. So yeah, I'm going to say those units still work just as well, if not even better because of 8th's tendency to favor hordes and large piles of dice, and DE now lasting longer on the table. (Well, that's what I seem to get from all my games so far) Not to mention Dark Lances on Ravagers are amazing.
