  1. Is that a fully painted army I spy? (although I think some I may have painted and are banned from being used against me until they get repainted!)
  2. For my Eldar jetbikes I used domed nuts and bolts. This allows you to unscrew them during transport. I found that magnets aren't strong enough. I wasn't able to find a nut that was small enough to fit into the flying stand hole so had to drill the hole out a little to make it fit. I then bought some 32mm round bases and glued the bolt onto it. I then primed and painted the bolts black. In black they can show up a little more the clear stands but they look ok. Its important to use the domed nuts or nuts with caps on them as just using a regular nut its easy to screw the bolt in too much and push it from the model. If you have the September 2016 issue of White Dwarf look for the Eldar army and you can see them on my jetbikes or the December 2017 issue with my Harlequins.
  3. That first guy looks familiar somehow As for the most recent, I thought it was the Captain with plasma pistol and power sword? Anyway, you're going to nag me to finish that 2012 Captain now, aren't you? The models I gave you were painted a while later but pretty much following the same colours. I did keep the one in the photo as it was my first. I also still have the very first model I painted. I painted the Games Day model after the Captain.
  4. Most of the Blood Angels I paint are bits of them on the bases of my Eldar but the first Space Marine I ever painted was a Blood Angel. Painted this guy back in 1995. The most recent Blood Angel I painted was the Games Day 2012 model. I did most of the work back in 2013 or 2014 but rebased him in 2016.
  5. Seems it may be the same stuff as bio-strip but cheaper. At least the way you describe the smell and the way it looks. My only concern with your resin tests is that its not on a real paint job. Could do with having a spray primer, few layers of paint and then left for a couple of weeks.
  6. The way i've done it is that if its possible for your warlord to do the objective then they must do it. If your warlord can't do the objective but its possible you to get it then you can complete it that way. If its impossible to complete discard the objective and pick another.
  7. Is that 9.2k Blu Tack free? I’m guessing you would either have to play on a floor or have several tables be linked “zones” so that you can access every model. Brings up a different fun thought: how many points is a Spacw Marine chapter? As long as you don't go more than 6 foot deep its possible to reach the middle.
  8. I would use Microsol to soften them up and then remove them with a wet brush.
  9. I got some promethium relay pipes painted up over the weekend. Progress is a little slower at the moment due to me playing a computer game but should return to regular speed soon. I opted for a fairly simple colour scheme so they didn't take forever to paint. Next up are the ruins.
