Hey guys, now that ive finished my DA's (just about anyway) I have decided to start 2 new armies. The first of these will be a Scythes of the Emperor force. Painted my test model last night. Sorry about the average quality pictures.

Few things to note about this model.

- I used what i had left in my box as i always do with my test models

- He was assembled quickly hence there is a few mould lines visable

- He is painted to represent a Sergeant (Specifically Manuel Calibre if you read my short story)

- He has an ornate relic bolter which looks rubbish in teh pictures but actually has a lot of fillagrie detail which the camera couldnt pick out

- Im also really eager to improve my free hand so if it looks a bit below par at the minute or i have lots of unnessessary bits, please excuse it

- i had never painted yellow before so i used the same method i use now for my DW. (brown base, 1:2 brown:yellow, yellow, 1:1 yellow:white highlights)

- Im working on my black armour highlighting.

My force is going to consist of the following (im unsure of what rules to use but thats another matter) to begin with,

-Custom built Captain Anvil (Based upon Lysander)

- 4 Custom Sergeants

- 4 Tac squads

- 2 rhinos

So yes im looking for C&C, thanks

Nice work, always good to see a Scythes army.

What else you got planned?

I've not actually planned anything! ^_^ If im honest im not 100% sure which direction to take.

Im going to get a SM battleforce and see what i can do with that. Im currently putting 3 armys together, My DW are 95% finished and ive just started the Scythes and a Chaos army as well (Word Bearers or Alpha legion, still undecided) so it may take me a few months (and Pay cheques!) to get things rolling.
