A little sad face on the cost. 64.99 euro's translates to $80 usd same as GW.

That's about $97 aud here, and at GW they're officially selling 10 sisters of metal for $140!

For the price of only 20 GW metal sisters, you can almost get 30 of these in all their detail and glory...

Sustaining hobbies in Australia makes me sad...

Nice, that's a good way for you AUS and other pacific ocean players to get some SoB cheaper.

Also was shown Wargame Exclusives US ebay page priced under the exchange rates.

The torso is WAY too busy for my taste. I know people said the same about Plague Marines which I honestly think are fine but this guy ... damn. Classic Wargame Exclusive loading way too many details on a model.

The faces on the leg armor, the backpack and the whip look great tho.

Oh and I just see he has hooves for some reason ... golly gee.

Oh and I just see he has hooves for some reason ... :cuss.

for me, it feels like his breastplate should go lower than it does on that model. That's not to say that I won't but the model tho.

Also, Lucius has always had goat hooves.

I guess they haven't been super predominant in the art, but they've always been there.

The faces look bit gummy for my liking but it's still an impressive model, and a nice placeholder for an inevitable new Lucius. The whip is awesome.

Having the breastplate extend too far down is one of the most common mistakes in fantasy art so one that's a bit high isn't a problem. The mark V, VI and X do it 'good enough' by fantasy art standards and the pre-heresy stuff is all awful outside of the mark II which doesn't technically have a breastplate and is otherwise too weird to be easy to judge for practicality.

Interesting design. Sculpting looks a little soft/rounded, and he looks hella busy. Still, kinda cool.

a soft scult seems just fine to me. The followers of Slaanesh often seem soft, at least in comparison to the other traitors. As far as the scult being busy goes, I intend on removing the cape and using it for a Fabius Bile conversion. I feel like the cape adds just a bit too much to the look of the miniature.

Alright, I'll come out and say it: It looks horrible. That's a horrible sculpt. This is the definition of bad third party model making.

Really, really not a fan of that one sick.gif

People like to whinge and moan about "the good old days," when things "were cool" and now somehow aren't.
One would think that this energy would be better invested in pursuing things one finds more to one's liking.
Then again, common sense doesn't seem to be all that common.

meh, the model has some bits that can be put to good use and I intend to do just that.

I like the model anyway. Think it could have done with longer legs and I'm not the biggest fan of the whole goat hooves thing, but that's fairly common among Slaanesh design so I'm not too fussed. Cape is a swing and a miss, could have done with more subtle sculpting as the way the detail was added looks chunky.

But the core concept is cool. I'm a big fan of WGE's Slaanesh stuff. Their Deviant Daemon Prince is probably the best resin model I've ever worked with.

I feel like Wargame should dial it back a little. Some of the stuff they make is great; the majority isn't. I still think the various Chaos upgrades they make are still amongst their best products.

Those are cool, design wise at least. They look a little bit like 3rd edition plastics in the details though, especially the helmets. I do like the ideas behind them though and it could be the renders/shots.

The Lord though, ehhhhhhhh. Looking again the sculpt is very mushy, especially on the faces on the cape. I'll agree that soft, rounded details can work for Slaanesh, but there's a difference between rounded designs and mushy sculpting. The cape is the worst offender, and some parts look like they could be useful for conversions, but if I got one I wouldn't build it as it was- I'd probably harvest it for parts. The sword is a nice design though.
