Forge World Page (up for preorder)

Unlike most sloppers, who pass themselves off as culinary experts just because they know how to siphon a water still, Bigby can actually cook. This has put him in high demand, although the price for hiring Bigby is often joining him on one of his legendary (and dangerous) ingredient hunts. The Ratling delves deep into the badzones of the underhive in his search for exotic plants and animals to fill his slop pot. Some say he is merely looking to add new recipes to his repertoire, though others claim he seeks to create the perfect dish, one good enough to win his way into the spire.

A well-fed gang is a happy gang! Keep your fighters fit and healthy with a Ratling slopper who can also help out in turf wars with his stub gun and trusty ladle. He comes with a seperate slop pot, which stands on top of the grill and contains his latest culinary creation.

This highly detailed, 9-part resin kit makes one Bigby Crumb and is supplied with a 25mm Necromunda base. His slop pot can be assembled closed, open with the lid held up by a tentacle or without the lid so that you can see the boot he has added to improve the flavour.

Rules for using sloppers in games of Necromunda can be found in Necromunda: Gangs of the Underhive, while Bigby Crumb's fighter card is available as a PDF download.

One can wonder what kind of flavour was the cooking before he added his boot...

I think we're one foot closer - literally! Someone loses a foot, I'd toss it in the soup!

Someone please - please - model this guy as Devito.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with the model itself, but this seems like a very low priority model to make.

I’m with you. I’m glad the specialist game’s crew has the freedom to make some cool :cuss, but this seems a bit odd to me. I guess if people like it, that makes me happy. But this is probably the only Munda model I won’t purchase

It's probably just a bit of fun - one of those models the sculptor just felt like making.

Your opinion is important, and someone posting here probably does care what you think. You should go tell them. Remember that it really hurts to come up with an idea you care about and have no one else care. Go care about something and tell them what you think. Now. Think of what it would have meant to you when you were young.

They show up for attacks on a gangs home territory in campaigns.

They obviously have a function on the table and can be used for combat. Don't be obstinate.

People like to whinge and moan about "the good old days," when things "were cool" and now somehow aren't.
One would think that this energy would be better invested in pursuing things one finds more to one's liking.
Then again, common sense doesn't seem to be all that common.

I think the model is great and his background immediately sparks my imagination for a narrative adventure into the bowels of the Underhive in search of some lost recipe or the legendary truffles that the lesser spotted sump spiders make their nest in.

This isn't 40k, it doesn't matter if he isn't a game breaker, he adds to the narrative and in Necromunda narrative is king yes.gif

Lovely model. Oozes slop character. I'm having one.

"The Nova Terra Interregnum has been remembered unfairly by those few who remember it at all. True, many malcontents, provocateurs and petty lordlings flocked to its banner when it seceded. But its attempts to contain the aggressive expansion of the Ecclesiarchy were born from an honest desire to uphold those values at the hart of the Great Crusade. It is ironic that the last gasp of the Emperor's true vision was finally throttled at the hands of those who fought in His divine name, on the planet that once reminded our Lord of 'Urf, long ago...'"
                        - Archivist & Historian Vedek Parsen, pilloried, emasculated, hung, drawn, crucified, quartered, burnt and disintegrated for heresy extremus. Probably in that order.
