Managed to hit a good stride and get another member of Third Claw finished. I really like this helmet design, it feels very suitable for the Night Lords.

This outfit rules harder than it has any right to and I wish I could make it. Dark Eldar just consistently have the best fashion choices, even if just looking at them makes me feel chilly. Have we seen that helmet design in the various Eldar ranges? I kinda dig it. And thanks doing a flip through of the comic, I haven't seen much of it in colour before. That sure is a fashion choice. Jeez that's bold. Not quite to my taste but still. If nothing else its proving that I really can do whatever I want and it'll probably be fine. I mean if people are allowed to dress like that in 40k, I think I'm safe. I do like the single sleeve look tho, nice bit of asymmetry.

Made some progress on a few units today, including getting a member of 3rd Claw finished. Pretty happy with the look, hopefully they're easy enough to read as a Legionary.

Managed to get 10 Chaos marines, 5 Kabalites and 5 Scourges all washed and ready for layering and highlights, but most of today was spent on a Legionary.

Well there's no need to be rude! I think they're looking pretty good considering their age. What year were these released originally? I remember seeing the Nobz and Dread in my 3rd edition rulebook (or at least I'm pretty sure I did, it's been a while) I also just noticed the old style Necron head on the Dread banner. Neat

And the synch kill animations? Some of the best animations I've seen. The life it gives the setting. God, DoW ruled. The whole series is such a great way to 'see' the setting in action, especially with mods that allow a larger scale. It's always been a great source of inspiration, I love it. Boy, that 3rd instalment tho...

and suddenly I was 4 again Everything feels so safe, it's at odds with the grim-dark tone. I remember reading up on Tycho in one of the old Blood Angel codecies and being a bit sad when I found out he was actually dead. (Tho it ruled that I could still field him) I'd like to see more of that. For contrast, both Berzerk and GoT are not afraid to just kill off an important character and it's what makes them so grim & dark. Bad things happen to characters we love and that's just how the world is. Yeah, it kinda sucks, that's the point. It's supposed to hurt. What I'm trying to say is GW should just kill Guilliman. (I mean permanently stop it with the revives)

Aside from my gripes about the lack of WE Terminators, I was also sad to see a lack of Daemon Engines for T-Sons and WE. Daemon Engines were always such a unique part of Chaos, I want more funky little dudes. Yeah, I've been looking around and have my eye on a few kits. Artel W also has some good stuff, I'm just trying desperately to stay focused on my Night Lords. What does this mean. What power does moss hold over you.

I'm definitely leaning towards a casual Howling Banshee idea if I go down the Eldar route. They're easily my favourite of the Aspects (shocking, I'm sure) and I think using the Titan Crew kinda look would lead to something pretty cool, if very 80s. I'll probably avoid the more 80's hairstyles tho, I don't think I'm brave enough to commit to those, tho I might just dye my hair red and go from there, that always seemed fun. I'm hoping to sketch out some rough ideas sometime soon, so fingers crossed I make time to sit down and draw without getting distracted by something else. I've always found robes to be a bit boring. I know they're around a ton in the Imperium and probably super common in the Sisters of Battle, but it's not something I've ever looked at and gone "Ah yeah, would kill to wear that." Now if there was some sort of fancy dress or ballgown, now we're talking. I assume Sisters of some rank attend fancy events, right? Maybe that's an idea, And y'know, I've been recommended that series a few times recently, I might have to give it a look. I remember enjoying some of Wraights other work, tho it's been a hot minute. That would be greatly appreciated! I always meant to pick it up but I kept getting sidetracked

Ugh, it's fine, I did it to myself. I've been painting Chaos since I was 14 or so, I knew what I was getting myself into. Really tho, did the coolest faction have to have the most trim? I suppose that's the price Chaos fans pay for being objectively the best faction with the sexiest fanbase. And yeah, I absolutely love how much pop Plasma weapons can add to a squad or an army. I might do a whole Chosen squad armed with just Plasma weapons, but I also don't want to overdo it on the infantry. I already have 20 Chaos Marines, 20 Berzerkers, and 10 Raptors in the army, plus some Cultists. I did some digging and managed to find a couple photos of that Defiler I painted a couple years back. The quality isn't great, this was before I figured out what decent lighting was, but I'm still pretty happy with the result. It was for a Khorne heavy Black Legion army, so I worked some reds and blood into the look. I think I painted this crabby little fella in a single day, so it's hardly my best work, but I figure it's always fun to look back and see how you've improved and all that. I promise I'll have something much nicer to look at next time.

Took a peak around the webstore and while it's probably not a complete list, all these models are listed with a 100mm base For Chaos, I found Daemon Primarch Angron, Mortarion and Magnus, Skarbrand, Be'lakor, Lord of Change and Keeper of Secrets, and the War Dogs For filthy loyalists, it's the Gladiator, Impulsor and Repulsor, Amigers, and the Telemon Dread And for perfidious Xenos, its the Norn Emissary/Assimilator, Sporocyst I also realize now that you're asking specifically for robot models but I already typed this all out so you can appreciate my lack of reading comprehension
