I thought I would add these two Attack Bikes as I haven't finished much recently ( time been taken up with dognought http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...howtopic=163291 and my Chimera ARV http://www.thegamersguild.co.uk/forum/topi...p?TOPIC_ID=1071 ) but even as the last vapours of laquer disperse I present

The weapons are magnetised using 2mm X 1mm magnets so they can be swapped. All I need now is one more of each and we good to go

Feel free to C&C

Thanks to all for the positives

As for buying the new stuff - I know I will. Most likely will mix them with the squads I already have as I like the idea of certain pieces of armour being around for a long time and passed down to the new recruits. Not all marines are the same size or have the same armour made at the same time so I am happy mixing old school metals with new style plastics and use the colour as my unifying factor. I already have three of my sqauds upto 12 men so I could have a larger variety of weapon options and they all have two assault weapon each again to help with options, so I am hoping if we get larger squad sizes or 'two' assault weapons per squad I will be able to mix in some new bits which would spare up a few troops and make another squad by using the spares and repainting the shoulder pads. does that make sense?? And I probably need to build another Bloodclaw pack but am waiting for the codex before I do that

Because everything takes me so long to complete, I still have a Landraider, three metal Dreads and one plastic, twelve or so Jump pack Assault Marines, eight Bikes and two Attack Bikes, a second Vindicator, two Razorbacks and a Rhino. There is also probably 20 - 30 spare marines and two devastor squads in my bits box as well so I don't know what I need to buy. Terminators - yep Terminators. I don't have any Terminators yet and I do want to redo my Scouts using one of the methods around here somewhere, the Marine / Catachan hybrid ones.

And of course I have to finish my 'Dognought'

So we shall see. By the time I get around to buying anything there should be lots of stuff on ebay from the ones who don't get on our army style. Definately will be passing an eye over the rumoured re-casts of our characters, they are good but do need updating

'Till next time - DGC

"Logan"? Where's the guy with lightning claws? ;)

As for that latest GH squad, are those magnets I spy on the bottom of those special weapons? Which guys are magnetized to hold them? I'm guessing the guy with a boltgun?

I love your work, the dread and the grey hunter casualty in particular are amazing.

I joined this forum couple years ago, 2008 I think, but never used it. Ive been a space wolf player since rogue trader and have watched my painting skills slowly get better over the years. Thought I was good until I saw yours lol. I still use all my old models in realy big games, though not the rogue trader ones, so its great to see a mix of old and new models. I absolutely love your style of wolves, the right colour in my opinion, and the detail is amazing. A friend of mine at our local gaming club said my wolves were too perfect, and I never twigged what he meant til I saw yours. Your style is neat , and perfect but with a real sense of realism. I am truly inspired by your painting and I am now going to go back over some of my paint jobs to see if I can replicate your style...(really aint gonna be easy..lol) Seen a lot of the Sons of Russ over the years but yours are probably my favourites. Im going to try to put some pics on some time soon and would love some feedback. I have read how you paint yours and its almost the same as myself but yours look sooooo much better. How do you get that worn, realism? Is it down to the final wash?

Fantastic paint jobs, thanks for the inspiration.
