When is the 2000 pt AotL Strike Force coming out Sandalphon? ;) :P errr... ;) Does the one i have already count? ...repainting would look great but i have about 70 unpainted marines coming my way or other purposes ;) Thanks for the kind words, i didnt really think of it as Jade until it was mentioned, and it's a good description, i'm really happy with how they came out, and tbh i think gold is the new yellow, and for some reason seems a bit more 'grimdark' too.. Here's the link to the WIP thread if anyone's interested: WIP thread I might be able to post some individual shots this week.. at least of the sgt. and lascannon.. the other guys are pretty uninteresting ;) Termies are next on the hitlist! Thanks Cedric :lol: Green as follows: Chaos black undercoat, Thin DA Green over most of the mini (save darker recesses) DA Green with a bit of Snot Green to most exposed areas and edges Thin brush Snot Green to all edges Very thin Goblin Green to highlights Watery Black Ink to crevices/ detailed shadows Dark Green Ink to all green areas. I was really happy with how it turned out! The other trick is to limit the highlights and break it up with details (purity seals, metal bits, and trims etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
