Also, that bird icon on the titan, that would make an awesome chapter badge (thank you for the idea, its mine now! MUAHAHAHAHHA ) I'm using it as the house icon for my Knight(s). Anyway, I have been busy with a few things, some of them involving paint! Firstly I made two squads of acolytes for my inquisitor. I wanted something that looked a little different then the off the shelf models and something that would fit in with the theme of my other models as well. The background idea is that I'm using the inquisitor/knight rules/models as more of a pdf to go along with my BA successor chapter. Some pre shots of the the acolytes: And once I managed to get some paint on them: There has also been a bunch of new stuff released for BA lately, of which I have picked up a few things, Picking up all the campaign books netted me some more plastic to work with. I started with the Dread: And then ended up making him a friend out of extra parts: I start with the base colors on both, and have finished off the libby dread so far. I'm working with a little bit different orange then I did when I started the army, it ends up being a bit darker but it is MUCH easier to pull off as I'm using an airbrush to do most of the coloring as apposed to 10+ layers by brush. It also ends up a lot smoother. I must say that the plasma obliterator is one of the worst kits assembly wise that GW has ever put out, at least out of the ones I have handled over the past 20+ years. However, once you get past that it is a decent looking model with a lot of little detail.
