This weekend I'm going to get the Dark Apostle (Forge Chaplain) & FW Iron Warrior dreadnought converted, then paint them on the 24th Decemeber.Also going to try get time during the weekend & convert up some Fallen Angels. It is expected to paint to the best of your ability and there is no prize if you finish early. Do the best you can. Generally speaking there is no rule on bases. This is in the spirit of the event being all-inclusive and to allow for all skill eves to join in and have fun. If your best effort does not include basing, so be it. I have him based and inked since I took this picture, and I'm starting on the trim today (oh joy my favorite part NOT). Reason being, Doomrider will mainly be another colour. That's a job for another day! However, I've now done all of the metal parts, I've since the photo ensured that all the Bolters are coloured red (although require highlights). I've ensured all the white is perfect, my next step is to just go over the trim (as well as the highlighting stage), before I'll do the tires and get washing. After that, weathering and basing!
