Legit question: if I ran an Int-Chappy in TDA with the unit as it's personal command squad would the five TH/ SS work?

@ Politix: Looks good - a very large amount of Termies there... However I need you to give me an accurate points cost. The Sergeant may be locked with storm bolter and power sword but there is no problem making one TH & SS termie "count-as" having the correct load-out. So although the actually mini will carry a TH & SS it will be costed as a proper Sergeant. But please give me a definitive points cost...

Semper, if I run them as a command squad attached to a TDA Chappy are they legal then?

If not cost as is I believe 245pts. I will update total vow cost in a sec.

You can actually vow a Command Squad - even without a Chaplain. Although this is primarily aimed for people that want to do the Champion and the banner and such but the answer is yes. Any model in the DW Command can have a TH and SS... If that's all they take they cost 245pts (as a Command Squad). As a normal DW squad they'll cost 240 (provided the Sergeant cannot be upgraded - although I have to look at the eratta because the Codex says it's fine).

 

Anyway I need a total for the entire vow - not just the squad. I have calculated at 655 but not entirely sure I have done this correctly. If you're not near your Codex maybe another brother can help out?

To be honest, it also has the first stage of preshading, but its just some black from the "under" angle...managed to lay all the greys for the concrete and started working on the golds this weekend...if all goes well, it should be finished by the end of month.

brothers after much assembling & waiting on 2 sets of d-wing heads I will be making my vow when those heads arrive as I want to do just 1 vow(as headless terminators don't count & shouldn't lol)...so expect a 2k+ vow in a few days(waiting for mail order stuff is annoying,lol least all my paints & everything else is ready)(vow will be made before end of month easily though)keep it up everyone good looking models & paint jobs...
