I am so tempted to sneak a fourth vow in, you guys have no idea. I've got three Contemptors sitting in a box taunting me in their unpaintedness...

I did a fair bit more yesterday - just weapons on the cultists, highlights and touch up on Helbrute and to paint Rai Lurweiss, although he is now base coated. Depending on how I feel after work, I'll get some more done smile.png

Thanks for the thoughts and kind words all. I think that if I can get this all done by Wednesday night, I can probably blitz another two small vows... here's hoping! But, it's the Knight that will make or break it I think.

Working on it, I spent 6 hrs painting today and finish two dreads.  I hope to finish Termis and zerkers this weekend.  Monday/Tuesday is all about the characters.

just need to finish building the termie sorc, (cant find any left arms) paint him, then finish the terme lord and the riders for the plague flys and then find the guns and hatches for land raider and im done

Personally, I'd advise caution when planning new vows at this point. This close to the ETL, you're risking a lot for a few extra points since you either have to make those points or lose everything you've done to this point. And all it takes is something as minor as a cut to the hand to knock you out. I'd recommend finishing up and then following the advice Christopher Lloyd gave in Search for Spock:

i could easily do vow 3 in a few hours, its just a dread, but can i really be bothered to paint any more, tbh im sick of the sight of toy soldiers and have been for the past month, thats why its taken me so long to finish this vow, cuz ill do it tomorrow, but tomorrow never comessss. until today, and maybe tomorrow.
