Me too, school and work have me tied up, with girlfriend a close second. Hell even when I do have a bit of time I'm too dang tired. OT: Man those World Eaters bits (chaos or heresy) really mesh well together, not a fan of having only one shoulder plate (personal pref) since it reduces their overall bulk, but hey, they look good. Thats all that matters! Off for the next few days so I'm hoping to get some work done!  Also, thanks to HMRC returning my overpaid tax, my Iron Warriors will be receiving some reinforcements:  2x Medusas 10 man heavy support squad with autocannons Terminator armoured Warsmith(based on the Iron Father model) 10 man close combat tactical squad with Rhino  Ordered some Myrmidon Destructors and some of Micro Art studios Iron Brotherhood range to start my Dark Mechanichus allies!  I've been looking at getting some guitar strings to use as cables and mechandrites, any ideas on whats the best to use?  Cheers!  Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Atia - I can only echo what everyone else has said so far. Really great stuff! I've finally finished off my Red Butchers, so I'm all done for September! Despite initially hating the look of these sculpts and their colour scheme (a couple of them just look like they're falling over/tripping up, and the FW scheme reminds me of clowns), I'm actually pretty happy with the way they've turned out. I re-based the Chainfisted Devoured to try and show him stomping on a fallen legionnaire, which was lots of fun. And, on the topic of next month (for those who haven't seen him in my plog over in WIP), my XII Legion Praetor. I'll also be trying to do some of my VII Legion stuff next month, but the lack of shoulder pads from FW makes it awkward. So I'm either finishing off my Seeker Squad and their Rhino, or doing an Achilles-Alpha, haven't quite decided yet. Actually, thinking about it - Is there any reason not to just roll this thread over into October rather than starting a new one? Or is it easier to start a new one to keep track of pledges, etc? I guess I wouldn't mind running a thread for October, but I figure someone who has been more active this month, like FireGolem, Slipstreams, or betrayer MIGHT be more suitable... whatever y'all think anyway. Â Right now I actually have a bit of painting time for the first time in three months, so I'm going to make a small pledge for October to start me off. Â I, Kor'Vesh, pledge to paint five pyroclasts and a Praetor of the glorious XVIIIth Legion astartes in the month of October 2014. Â I'm hopeful I'll get this done easily enough, as I've also got a rhino to paint, and I've just ordered myself Vulkan and a Sicaran - I'll really want to work on those once they turn up!
