Now that the End of Times phase for the ETL with today & tomorrow.  As said it been really great seen so many cool models & progress - then we've got Call of Chaos to see even more cool hobby & models being built & painted :D

 

My last vow current undercaoted.  About to go get breakfast & then quickly add leadbelcher spray when I get back before work get done to the house & also drop off a commission later on today.  Then pretty much spend tomorrow getting Vow 4 all painted :D

Just put our numbers into a spreadsheet.  If I understand the rules correctly (all of a persons vows must be completed for any to count, your final score is determined by multiplying the total by the completion rate), then we currently have 36450 points sorted at 34.7% so 12642 (as long as people don't pledge more).

 

If we lose I blame Slaanesh.

That can't be right. We had a completion rate of over 50% in the week 12 update!

Currently we have vowed 105093 points

69973 points have been completed

36450 points have been completed (with no vows pending)

 

Am I right in thinking that our score would be the 36450 because those greedy souls need to finish all their vows?

 

So is our completion rate 66.6% (69973 out of 105093) or 34.7% (36450 out of 105093)?

 

And when you apply the completion rate factor is it the 66.6% (24269) or the 34.7%? (12642)?

I think the updates count as completed vows that people have made subsequent vows after, even if those subsequent vows remain uncompleted.

It's a fantastic incentive, certainly. I really like the way it works, as it's definitely a game changer. 

 

When I'm home from work, hopefully can get everything finished this evening and make a final, small, 5th vow. Something to take me up to about 7,000pts over the course of the ETL would be lovely ^_^

The completion rate you apply is the percentage of compelted units. So suppose we've vowed a total of 100K and at the deadline the completed and counted vows total 70K, our completion rate is 70%, so our final score is 0,7 x 70K = 49K. Does that make sense?

I thought for sure I would have more time before this expansion ramped up at work to get some more painting done, but alas that's not the case. As it stands, I'm still at work until late tonight and there's no way to finish my vow before the deadline.

 

I am sorry to have failed the Warmaster and my traitorous brethren.  :(

Hoping to sort the bases on the second unit of bloodletters before tomorrow but my understanding is they're not required for the vow. I'll try and do a group shot tomorrow as well.

 

It's been fun. I must admit I planned on joining the ETL as soon as the Daemonkin book came out. Then as it got close I was put off a bit. Everyone seemed to take it so seriously and you could feel the pressure building. I'm not really much of a competitor. But I got involved anyway (big part was the effort Cap'n was clearing putting in). And it's been a blast. I've done loads worse than planned but so much better then expected. Hoping to continue it one with all the models I had planned to paint!

Also, no-one takes the ETL seriously, we're Chaos! We're the dancing team, the guys that go BOO! in the night. Take everything with a huge grain of salt, and enjoy the ride. Which you did, apparently, so all's good. Except for your soul: your soul is eternally damned, for you did not deliver 5x501 points to the Gods, as you promised them. Still, 1149 points is nothing to sneeze at by far, so congrats either way!
