The Renegade Knight has seen another painting session. I underestimated how huge that model is - I have already used up all my remaining Nuln Oil. Time to go into town and get a new pot biggrin.png

Phew... I updated everything... Chaos is really a big task to update... 

 

StD and Chaeron, you guys are monsters. Congratulations on your huge completions and good luck for your follow-up StD! 

 

The quality is outstanding, this is really a rewarding thread to follow. Keep it up guys - you're now approaching 50% completion rate! :o

Just a quick update... I'm not dead, but this commission is kicking my butt.  

 

However, I was able to prime and get my vow about 90% finished yesterday, and it's on the to do list for this evening.  It's down to all the detail stuff... eyes, jewels, teeth, etc, and the base.  I might be able to do another vow if the next few days go well.

This really has been a rewarding thread to follow, and participate in, I should have my vow %100 finished by the weekend, I might still vow my terminators and lord.

 

My E.T.L has been so successful I'm actually running out of miniatures to paint! I've totally demolished my WIP pile, down to the last scraps now :D

I was supposed to say "great work everyone! Keep em coming!"

 

But I always just get distracted talking about myself :D

Perhaps that's the helmet and skull of a Kierdale's shrineworlder on that backpack there...

That completes my third vow and my activity for this year's ETL.

Now I have to get my almost-finished raptors finished, do a handful more daemonettes, the three rhinos, the dreadclaw (none of which could constitute a 4th vow or be finished in time)...some Eldar...and the Armies on Parade board...

I'd best get to work.

2nd vow Abaddon needs more terminators

 

 

I Thamier rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete 5 chaos terminators of khorne!! from the khorne demonkin codex of total value 214 (4 poweraxes 4 combiplas 1 heavy flamer, 1 chainfist and mark of khorne) on or before August 15th, 2016. Success will bring eternal glory to Balefire Legion! and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end

As ever, please do point out if I've made any errors in counting or in wargear selection - happy to amend! Using Deredeos as gun-platform Contemptors is a great way to represent Extra Armour in my opinion too, so glad to paint those.
