Provocation Posted April 7, 2017 Share Posted April 7, 2017 Greetings I'm looking for inspiration to convert some new scouts up for Armageddon Shadow War. I prefer the look of the 2nd edition scout sergeant minis as they encapsulate the veteran status rather than new recruits. Please post pics of cool scout conversions. Provocation Posted April 8, 2017 Author Share Posted April 8, 2017 Decided to have a go with the snipers as they look bulkier with the cloak/ pelt. I'm stealing this, i'm stealing it so hard. Question, where did you get those two heads in the middle. They don't look like normal space wolves kits. Provocation Posted April 14, 2017 Author Share Posted April 14, 2017 The sniper was easiest as the pelt cloak bulks him out nicely. All the shoulder pads are from the Wulfen box. I added greaves from the chaos marauders to the berserker and a shield to his back from the beast men. The two bolters and meltagun have legs from the scions box, cut horizontally to fit the scout torsos, bust above the backside armour plate. Then just a sprinkling of wolf bits and bobs to finish off. The heads from left to right: ulrik the slayer, grey hunter head braid cut off and the final three are thunder wolf cavalry. The flat ones work a treat. Hfran Morkai Posted April 14, 2017 Share Posted April 14, 2017 The shoulder pads really help remove the blocky stature of Scouts which is one of my main gripes with the models (which was a shame as I love the idea of Scouts and actually want an infiltration "themed" Heresy army).
